Description
Oxbow bend is a scenic section of the Snake River resembling a U-shaped collar for an ox. The slow moving crescent-shaped bend is a superb habitat for moose, elk, beaver, muskrat and a wide variety of waterfowl. The river sits at the northern flank of Signal Mountain east of Jackson Lake. Mount Moran of the Teton Range dominates the landscape.
