This is the highway US 163 leading to Monument Valley.
Monument Valley (Navajo: Ts Biiʼ Ndzisgaii, meaning valley of the rocks) is a region of the Colorado Plateau characterized by a cluster of vast sandstone buttes, the largest reaching 1,000 ft (300 m) above the valley floor. It is located on the Arizona-Utah state line near the Four Corners area. The valley lies within the range of the Navajo Nation Reservation, and is accessible from U.S. Highway 163.

F/L This is a fantastic landscape. The composition is excellent with the road leading the eye into the tall rock monuments. Yhe color is outstanding. The blue sky helps to make this one pop. Nice cropping!

Thanks Linda for the wonderful comment!! I remember trying to find a place to park to take this one and finally just stopped on the road and got out and took it.
