Artist's Description

The very beautiful sport complex that is surrounded by the Payette River! There are many play areas including softball fields, baseball field along with many soccer fields. There are many other things available like a fishing pond and a paved walking area round the park and next to the Payette River.

Originally called "Emmettville," it was primarily a post office named after Emmett Cahalan, the son of Tom Cahalan, an early settler of the area. About Robert Bales

Robert Bales

I am a retired teacher, coach, and athletic director. While my wife, Judy, and I were teaching she had a photo studio, and I had a dark room where I did black and white and color. We sold Last Class a few years ago and bought a small house in Yuma, Arizona and bought another one in Emmett Idaho. Now we spend the summers in Emmett and the winters in Yuma. Over our 50 years of marriage, we have always had an interest in photography and both of us enjoy taking the photos for this site. I have always used Cannon cameras and now I am using the 7D for most of the...
